Uludağ University, Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College achieved the grand award at the 25th Quality Congress organized by the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer). In addition to this, Kocaeli University, Hereke Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College received the 3-Star Competency in Excellence certificate.

Uludağ University Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College and Kocaeli University Hereke Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College, constructed by Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation have achieved a significant success. Uludağ University Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College received the ‘Grand Award’ in the Small and Medium Scale Public Administration and Social Services Category at the 25th Quality Congress organized by the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer). In addition to this, Kocaeli University, Hereke Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College received the 3-Star Competency in Excellence certificate.

In the ceremony held after the ‘25th Quality Congress’, Buket Eminoğlu Pilavcı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KalDer gave the grand award of Uludağ University, Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College to the School Principal Prof. Dr. Cumhur Aydınalp and Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation Director Nihal Alptekin.
The 3-Star certificate of Kocaeli University, Hereke Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College was given to the School Principal Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mücahit Opan by Pervin Olgun, Member of the Board of Directors of KalDer.

Uludağ University, Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College was previously awarded the ‘EFQM Determination Certificate’ in 2009, the ‘2012 Quality in Education Jury Encouragement Award’ and the ‘3-Star Competency in Excellence Certificate’ in 2012 and the ‘2013 Bursa Quality Success Award' under the Bursa Quality Awards in 2013 for its high-quality educational activities.
