A VISION TO SHAPE THE FUTURE

Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye with a comprehensive exhibition that focuses on the social and cultural climate after the Turkish War of Independence and the declaration of the Republic, through social life, equality, culture, and art. “A Vision to Shape the Future” was curated by İzzeddin Çalışlar with the consultancy of Prof. Dr. Haluk Oral.

The exhibition was realized with the contributions of Borusan Contemporary and it invites us to follow the cultural traces of the Republic of Türkiye by bringing many disciplines together. “A Vision to Shape the Future” was created with selections from personal archives and collections as well as works on loan from the institutions we have cooperated with.

By considering certain institutional values, the exhibition aims to convey the many layers of the early Republican period through artistic creations. “A Vision to Shape the Future” was organized within a framework that corresponds with both the legacy of Asım Kocabıyık, Founding Honorary Chairman of Borusan Group and the areas in which the Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation makes its social contributions.

The exhibition will be open to visitors at the Galataport O2 Block every day except Mondays between November 1 and March 3 and the exhibition tours are free of charge.
