Uludağ University Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College was awarded the "EFQM 4-Star Competency in Excellence Certificate" at the award ceremony held under the 23rd Quality Congress. The event was organized at the Istanbul Convention Center on November 18-19, 2014.

The award was received by Assistant Rector of Uludağ University, Prof. Dr. Müfit Parlak on behalf of the U.U. Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College.

Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College had previously received the “EFQM Determination Certificate” in 2009 and the "2012 Quality in Education Jury Encouragement Award” in 2012 for its high-quality education activities.
