Uludağ University Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College was awarded the "2012 Quality in Education Jury Encouragement Award” under the "2012 Bursa Quality Awards". The event was organized with the cooperation of the Turkish Quality Association (KalDer) Bursa Branch and Bursa Industry and Business Association (BUSİAD). The award was given to Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College Principal Prof. Dr. İlhan Turgut in the award ceremony following the "11th Quality and Success Symposium”. The presenters of the award were BUSİAD President Oya Coşkunöz Yöney and KalDer Bursa Branch Chairman Emin Direkçi. Gemlik Asım Kocabıyık Vocational College had previously received the “EFQM Determination Certificate” in 2009 and had been a candidate for “Bursa Quality Award” in 2012.
