“Asım Kocabıyık: 88 &∞” Memorial Room dedicated to the late Asım Kocabıyık, the Founder and Honorary Chairman of Borusan Holding, is open for visitors at the second anniversary after his passing away. The Memorial Room at Borusan Contemporary Perili Köşk includes a digital exhibition and presents Asım Kocabıyık's life, values and his contributions to the society.

"Asım Kocabıyık: 88 &∞" Memorial Room is now open for visitors at Perili Köşk which serves as Borusan Holding Headquarters on week days and hosts Borusan Contemporary's modern artwork on the weekends. Borusan Holding Founder and Honorary Chairman Asım Kocabıyık's office is redesigned as the Memorial Room to honor his memory and host a digital exhibition depicting the 88-years of his life.

"Asım Kocabıyık: 88 &∞" Memorial Room was established under the leadership of Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation and opened for visitors on the anniversary of his passing away on 28 December 2012. Prof. Dr. Zafer Toprak curated the Memorial Room while Çağdaş Arpaç and Fatma Türe undertook the design and production.

Memorial Room includes a 5-meter video wall with 7 screens that tells the main story of Kocabıyık's 88 years of life which started at Tazlar village of Afyon in 1924. This video wall which remains to be Turkey's largest touch screen can be operated by many people interactively at the same time. This video wall is separated into 10-year periods focusing on family, business and country. The visitors can follow Asım Kocabıyık's family and business life together with the social, economic and political developments in the country at the time. The content on the screens is based on Prof. Dr. Zafer Toprak's book "Cumhuriyet’in Başarı Öyküsü: Asım Kocabıyık" (A Success Story of the Republic: Asım Kocabıyık) which is a compilation of his interviews with Asım Kocabıyık.

Another highlight of the Memorial Room is the "Asım Kocabıyık and Social Responsibility" screen that exhibits social responsibility activities of Asım Kocabıyık who is one of the prominent names of the business world.

"Asım Kocabıyık: 88 &∞" Memorial Room will be open for visitors at 6th floor of Borusan Contemporary Perili Köşk on every Saturday-Sunday between 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM.
